1) AAU team practices and "Future Stars" begin this week.

2) This week's Flex Practice and Game Night are taking place at the Fowler Middle School in Maynard due to school events at Fenn. The schedule for those nights remain the same. Go to the Locations page on our website for the address and parking / drop-0ff details..3) Players should bring a ball and a water bottle to team practices, Future Stars clinics, and Flex practices. Please be sure your name or initials are on on the both! If you do not have a ball, we have extras.
4) Elevation Basketball short-sleeve t-shirts will be on sale at this week's Flex Practice and Game Night. T-shirts are $10 each and we have them in Youth-Large and all adult sizes.​
5) For those of you who ordered a new uniform, that order has been submitted and the uniforms should arrive prior to the first tournament on September 26-27.

If you would like to sign up for specific announcements and reminders solely for your son's AAU team, text ELEVATION + his grade number (as one word). So if your child is on our 4th grade team, text ELEVATION4 to (978) 780-8688. If he is on the 5th grade team, text ELEVATION5 to (978) 780-8688, and so on. If you have already done this, you do not have to do it again.

What you can expect from our program
1) Small rosters: Players play. Ultimately that's what players and parents want...and at Elevation that's what players get.
2) Experienced mature coaches: Almost all of our coaches coach one team (and never more than two). Our coaches do not float between teams. They know their players, the players know them, and improvement happens based on communication, connection, and real team basketball instruction.
3) We teach what matters: We teach applicable skills to a 5on5 game. We don't teach 1on1 fancy dribbling moves that often don't translate to the 5on5 game. Your child will learn about ball reversal, floor balance, making the "one more" pass, help defense, and defensive rotations. If your child's goal is to make a middle school or high school team, they will be prepared after working with us.
4) Communication: Elevation families will always know what is going on. We are not only a player-focused program, but parent-focused as well. I understand how much you have on your plates, and will always be totally transparent and do everything I can to be flexible and work around your needs. Emails are always replied to within 24 hours and usually a lot sooner.
5) Effective practice facilities. We are not a large program that jams as many teams as possible into a large, and often loud, facility. Our teams often have the gym to themselves or occasionally share with one other team. As someone who has coached for 30+ years, I know players learn best when the players can focus and aren't distracted. This is an undervalued part of impactful basketball teaching and we provide it.
6) We do what is best for our families: Every decision made is, first and foremost, looking to improve what we offer families. Whether it be small roster sizes, adding "Flex Practices", creating Friday nights "Game Nights", offering a lower (and locked in) price than any program in the area, providing partial and full scholarships, as well as free new uniforms, and most of all guaranteeing fun, we continue to strive to provide the best product possible for our families.
